I keep hearing that it is. When the time comes, we will post the pertinent info so all members can know where to listen and when.

Everybody has the meter, only if you are WARNED does it move up above 0%. Don't sweat it.

The warning meter is in all boxes....and on zero unless action is taken against that person. It is just part of the makeup of the board.

Due to so many people having never seen a warn bar and thinking they've somehow done something wrong, I've removed it from view.

First I want to say thanks for running this board. You do a great job. How do you post pictures?
And I like the technical stuff you can add, gonna have to start expermenting with it.

Thanks

Thanks!

There are 2 ways to add pictures.

The first way is hotlinking. That's when you want to show a picture that already exists elsewhere on the web.
You'll need the image URL. Just right-click on the image and choose Properties.
You'll see the entire image URL as shown below. Double-click it to hilite, and copy.

Then you click the IMG button in your post and paste in the image URL.

Something to keep in mind is if you use this method, avoid using an image that exceeds 600 pixels in width, as that will force a horizontal scroll bar in the thread and it won't look pretty.
Btw - the Properties window also shows the pixel dimensions.

=================
The other method is if you have the image on your hard drive, you can use the Attachment feature. Several images can be attached in a single post.
Just look below the window where you compose a post and you will see a Browse button.
Click that and navigate to your image. You can add more by clicking the Add This Attachment button, which will store the image and let you click the Browse button again.

One caveat, if you plan on using the Preview button, then you won't see any attachments show up in your post. You'll also lose the attachment if you haven't clicked the Add This Attachment button to pre-store the image.

The board will accept JPG, JPEG, GIF, and PNG images for upload, and if you are hotlinking, the board will not accept dynamic images or images with strange characters in the filename, such as "!". This is a security feature.

Hope this helped!

I've added this tutorial to the Help section for easy access.

Don't forget that you can manage your attachments in My Controls.

You can also archive your PM messages to your hard drive, which allows you to delete from the board those messages that have been archived.
This will free up your global space that is alloted to you for attaching images.
